Data sources and credits

Bosk is built on open data and the work of many people. Each source's licence usually requires a credit; this page is that credit, and per-item credits are also shown where a photograph or recording appears.

• Maps and places: Mapbox, OpenStreetMap contributors, ESA WorldCover (CC BY 4.0), Geoportal Berlin, Open-Meteo.
• Species information: Wikipedia (CC BY-SA 4.0), Wikidata (CC0) and GBIF, the Global Biodiversity Information Facility.
• Photographs: Wikimedia Commons, iNaturalist contributors and Unsplash photographers, each credited where shown.
• Sounds: xeno-canto recordists, each credited with the licence shown.
• Identification: BirdNET (Cornell Lab of Ornithology and Chemnitz University of Technology) for bird sounds.
